MY FRIEND IS FRICKING CRAZY. iDK WHAT TO DO ANYMORE!?

Okay, there are 3 people, me, my friend "Katie" and my other friend "Crazy". Okay me and Katie think that Crazy made up like 15 people that live in another city, but in our state. Crazy said that she met one of them when she lived in a different city besides the one we both live in and his one now and then he met the rest. Anyways. She had Katie talking to one for like a year and a half now and he SAYS he loves her. But no one has ever seen him, he calls from Skype and like never talks. So me and Katie think its Crazy being "Carl" because on messenger, when hes on, shes not (Crazy is lesbian so.. thats why we think shes getting out her feelings on Katie through Carl) and we found his picture on Google Images and a lot of other proof that he isnt real. Then Katies mom found out and she said she cant hang out with Crazy anymore because of it, and SAID she found out it was Crazy, but she never did. And now, i want to find out for sure because i dont like having her take advantage of Katie

or me anymore. Any suggestions of how i can find out if they are real without flat out asking her because she WILL say they are real. And on one of their myspaces they had no friends, their profile name was Crazys real name and on the about me part it said "im fake"
