Do you think this was fair?
i made a fan myspace for one of my teachers, (she didnt know untill it leaked out) with my best friend, and it had absolutly nothing bad or harmful on it and it was only a joke, the next day i was sent to principals office (i blamed the whole thing on me and bailed my best friend out of trouble) and i had to sit in the "time out room", a 7' by 7' room full of broken chairs and old nasty desks with the door locked half the time, and large humilitaing wire melsh covered wondows, with an annoying loud ticking hour late clock, for five hours all alone, and i had to miss the dance i was looking forward to. then i was suspended half of monday, they also gave my best friend's overprotective mother a call just because she was on the friends list, and now we cant see eachother like we used to all the time, do you think all these concequences were really nessesary? they also made everyone on the friend list show their myspaces against their will, i dont think this was fair, was it?
Do you think this was fair?It may have been a little overboard, but then, if you were the principle and had to ensure that everyone got the message loud and clear, would you make an example of the first offender? Could it (your "fan" listing) lead to death threats etc., against a targetted teacher? Bottom line, there has to be consequences for our actions. And sometimes you run into situations for which there are no established guidelines or a policy.
Do you think this was fair? This is where with your parents take it to the school board because what they did was unnecassry and that its called child indangerment
Do you think this was fair?Perhaps next time you will think about the consequences before you play a "little" joke.
Do you think this was fair?Frankly, I have no problems with your punishment, except for the door being locked with you inside. This could be deadly in the case of a fire or similar emergency. Otherwise, messing with teachers is asking for trouble.
