I have a myspace account without photos of me or my real name. The man who raped me 10 years ago has requested to be my friend. I looked at his profile because I felt I had too. As screwed up as this world is he has gone to school for the exact same thing as me. He working in the same industry as me. His birthday is the exact same date as my current boyfriends. I know I should deny him as a friend. But I feel flooded with emotions and I feel like I have regressed to 10 years ago. I just don't know how to handle how I feel. I feel like I did 10 years ago. I am also freaked out about the career and birthday thing. Can anyone relate?

What a strange situation. Look at how many friends he has on there. Is it a lot? If its a lot, he might just be trying to get a bazillion friends. If he has a lot that work in the same industry, it is possible he is just networking. If he really doesnt have many, he is trying to control, stalk and bother you. Just deny him and see what happens. If he keeps trying to add you, then I would report him for abuse, and explain your personal situation

You need to delete him now and get off of myspace for a while. If you are an adult and have a boyfriend as well as work and go to school you do not need to be hanging out on myspace. Find a new hobby for a while.
