my stepdaughters mother is getting divorced and i was just wondering if this will have any kind of backlash on my husband or us. the only reason i am asking is because the mother has had the daughter calling him dad since she was 3 (she is almost 12) and using his last name along with ours. does he have any rights towards her since has been living with her for the last 10 yrs. i am just worried for my husband. she still comes everyother weekend and he pays his dues to her mother. this was a thing that happened just out of high school (no other relationship with them). they haven't said anything yet and i know that she doesn't know. i only know because i go on myspace and saw his profile. it says lots of stuff about his exwife and how he is divorced. i do think she has been cheating on him too. at least from some of the things my stepdaughter has been saying. she spends the night with a guy from work alot. now if that ain't cheating i don't know what it is. anyway if anyone has any ..
