my son was messing around with my computer and he did something on my main screen to the icons instead of it saying verizon yahoo it says jh uk and then a number and instaed of saying myspace it says jh uk and another number i have no idea what he did if anyone can help i appreciate it

He might have renamed all the things on the desktop.Well, not a big problem.all you have to do is to rename everything on the desktop(select an icon to rename and press F2).If still nothing happens,then system restore is an option(start menu-all programs-accessories-system tools-system restore).It wont delete anything and will restore all the settings to the date you have selected.And it is completely reversible.Hope this helps.

Right click the icon and rename it to whatever you want.

Oh seems like he just renamed the name that all. Nothing to worry about.

If you'd like to have the original names back, just right click on the icon and select the option rename.

Rename the file and press the enter key on you're keyboard.

Since you're not sure what he did, your best bet is a System Restore back to a time before your son did his damage.
