I need help with the internet explorer icon on my computer?

wen i click on it it takes me to the internet properties. and it wont open the internet. wen i right-click the icon it doesnt give me an option to open the program like it normaly does. so i have to go on myspace im where it has a link to the internet to go use the internet. how can i fix my problem?

type in internet explorer

SEARCH

go start on blue bar (task bar)

choose search or find

then choose all files and folders

type in word you are looking for

when you see these icons

double click on them until you find what you are looking for

so you dont have to do this again

go back to same icon

right click

choose create short cut on desk top

close all windows

a new icon will be on your desk to

click to open

I need help with the internet explorer icon on my computer?

Try to delete the icon. Then create a new short cut from the task bar.
