Help with laptop!?

Help! I have a dell inspiron 6000. When I open up my internet explorer,all I have is a place for a web address and then the "file,edit,view,fav,etc" is listed on the far right side, not where it is normally found. Plus, I used to have words & icons, now i just have words. I have no stop or refresh buttons, or back or forward, and this is a major pain!

Also, I am having difficulty viewing some websites normally. I think it has something to do with my macromedia??(Not sure! I just remember something similar popping up)-- but What I mean is that I get websites in a different form (ebay,myspace,yahoo,hotmail) where the graphics are gone and everything is sort of "listed" and left aligned. HELP!

I know I need to get my comp "healthy" again.. any suggestions??

don't know what program you are running.If can take the computer back to the day the computer was made go int system restore back it up to the date before it started going crazy.Go to control panel,performances and maintenance then systems,then system restore find a date restore to that date it works.

Go to microft.com from where you can download the latest version of internet explorer

Download it and install it again.If it asks if you want to keep yoour old settings,say No.Think that should get rid of the problem.

For a change,try firefox.Its more secure,more customizable and easily extendible with lots of plugins.Its free too.
