Whats the hype with facebook ? why do people love it soo much ?

Ok lets start with the numerous social network sites that came before facebook. WAYN, BEBO, FRIENDSTER, Hi5, Myspace and finally FACEBOOK. now isnt it annoying when every ones inviting you to join each on of these networks, and your friends give you all the reasons to join it. I personally like Hi5 and Myspace. Hi5 is dead now in my opinion as i believe the facebook people have hacked it or something. Facebook is by far the most annoying social network site. I didnt mind when every one was talking about their myspace account. but facebook, please, who wants to be bitten by a vampire ? who wants to become a zombie ? even if you want to it wont make you one anyways. its a useless timewaster. Apart from that when you view someones profile it looks like a mess, i cant figure out whats what, theres so many walls and crap. just wanted to ask do you people really like facebook ? or do you pretend to like it because your friends like it ? if you do like it then WHYYY ?

Facebook is the best one so far (I have pages in many of the others you listed). Since joining facebook, I have reacquainted with many of my old friends over the years. It is free, yet private. You don't get spammed to death. It's not invasive. Myspace is too hard to figure out to set up your page, cheesy like. Facebook has a very user-friendly interface and in general is just so easy to work with. Other websites (like classmates.com) or all about money sooner or later and make you pay to see who is looking at your profiles, etc... Hopefully facebook will stay the same.
