What should I do? Should I be jealous?
I've been with my boyfriend for a year and 2 months and we have a 3-month old daughter together and moved into an apartment together about a month ago. The other day I was cleaning and found some old pictures and a letter from this girl he was with before he moved to Texas from California. Yes, I'm nosy and I read it. I always have a feeling that he wants someone better than me but can't find her, like he doesn't love me as much as he says he does. I was just wondering why he would keep the note and everything if it meant nothing to him. Just to note...I've caught him in SO many lies, little ones, but still, oh and a few big ones when I found his myspace profile that he lied to me about TWICE, I finally had to hack into it and delete it. Should I be jealous? Do I confront him? If so, how do I do it without him thinking I was snooping through his bags? Sometimes I feel he only stays with me because he doesn't have anywhere else to go.
What should I do? Should I be jealous?Wait a minute. You have a baby to think about.
If you leave him over this stupid little thing, you may ruin your daughter's life.
It's perfectly normal for a person to keep photos, cards, momentos from past relationships. Don't be jealous. It's just a reminder of a different time and place. Like a high school yearbook.
You feel insecure right now and this is going to be hard, but listen to me. Sometimes when I guy becomes a father he freaks out a little. He feels this huge weight of responsibility on his shoulders and sometimes just wants to forget about reality for a while. It has nothing to do with you, he would be doing this no matter who he was with. His myspace thing is probably nothing more than one little thread of life outside of being a boyfriend/father. Don't wig out. It will just make you look bad.
