Well I did not get a restaining order or change my # but everythign else has not worked and she even hacked my yahoo e-mail and my "myspace" and this is a new email addy I am on here with..she is f**kn crazy I am serious! Startin probs w/my new gf and I. And I was once engaged to this girl. I bought her a 2ct three stone diamond engagement ring that I worked my *** off for. And she almost didnt give it back to me after she cheated on me! then said she didnt want a relationship; well why does she bug me then?

This is more common than you think with ex-girlfriends. This one is pathologically possessive, and has virtually no self-esteem. She does not like herself, but to hide that fact, she makes everyone else in her life miserable. She does this to bridge the gap between how they perceive her and how she perceives herself. She can never live up to their or your perception.

She is miserable and she wants to make your life miserable because she knows that you're too good for her...but because she is unhappy, she wants you to be unhappy, too.

She cannot let go of you because of how you kept her from dealing with her true nature.,

Meanwhile, you have been way too nice to her and that is why she keeps turning up the heat. You need to use every four-letter word in your vocabulary and tell her off, in no uncertain terms

NO MORE MR/ NICE GUY!

Once she sees that you see her the way she really is, and sees that she can no longer push you around, she'll back off.

BUT, in case she doesn't, have that TRO ready. You really do need to go to the police and get that TRO so that she can be arrested and remanded to counseling. She needs professional help and maybe the only way she's going to get it is when it is forced upon her.

The only other alternative is if there is anyone that you know who has some control over her, talk to them and tell them that she needs professional help now.

BUT, if not, and she wasn't dissuaded by your new tough guy persona, then you really do have to get the courts involved.
