Hacking problem?

How do I change the question that it asks when you need a password? Somewone hacked into both my e-mail and myspace accounts. And I want it changed.

Never, never use a password with a cute phrase or word in it... try mixing numbers and letters BOTH intermixing alphanumeric characters. Also, avoid having too many different passwords, so you will not have to have them programmed/saved in your computer which if you are not a Mac user (as I am), can be easily hacked into. I believe Yahoo uses a few Security Questions and MySpace might also... I don't know, because I never forgot my MySpace passwords yet... [knock on wood] and I have four different accounts... two for business, one for close friends and one 'play' account. I have distinctly different passwords, but all run along a theme for each account, so that helps me keep track of them all. Most important point when choosing a password is to NEVER choose a birthdate, nickname, place, pet or real name... make something as long as allowed (no less than 8 characters) that is a UNIQUE hybrid combining those numbers I spoke of earlier... and bi all means, make sure the word is misspelled and completely illiterate, not like you see in tv shows or movies. There are programs that search out regular vocabulary words, names and titles, so veer away from those. Good luck... hacking sucks. I had one of my Yahoo seller accounts hacked as well as eBay and Paypal... all using the exact same password, another no-no I learned about the hard way.

P.S.>>>Yahoo has an account security department in where they will actually immediately close and reactivate your account with your consent via snail mail, fax, chat or on the phone. It takes a while, but it's worth it if you want to salvage your email which many times don't get deleted bi the hackers.

It all depends on the service. For Y! Mail, go to Account Settings or something like that. Myspace should have a similar section such as Modify Account or Account Settings.
