Brutus help?

ok before anyone says anything i know hacking is illegal and that there can be "dire consequences" and all that fun stuff.

i need some help setting up a dictionary attack against single myspace accounts. im testing it against my own account and putting a word list with only my password, but its not working properly. i have the ip and stuff set up right but idk much about the authentication and stuff.

all i want to do is learn how to dic attack accounts. the most iw ould do with it is mess with some of my friends. there is no harm on anyone intended. its just a neat thing to know.

im not just a clueless person who wants to learn to hack the white or anything. i am an experienced web designer, and i have very little knowledge of C and Perl. so if someone could please contact me at penguinluvinman@gmail.com and help me out a little bit i would greatly appreciate it.
