What's more likely is that your password was weak and someone has cracked it. If they haven't changed it (i.e. if you can still acces your account), you should change it to a stronger password (e.g. at least eight characters, no actual words but a 'jumble' of letters, numbers, whatever - just make sure you can remember it!). If you can't access your account I think you'll need to contact MySpace.

Yes. If this person was to have your password, they could access your profile just like you could. If this is happening to you, I suggest you change your password. Just go to Account Settings and click the tab that says Password.

Yes it can happen to you sometimes they con you into typing your username and password into something that is not myspace and the they get on there and send weird stuff to people it has actually happened to my account and all you have to do is change your password and be more careful as to where you type that password into.
