Saying hi problem to a guy friend and the guy I like--help&hearts?

GUY FRIEND PROB-

Okay, theres this guy a grade higher than mine and I saw his Myspace, I messaged him and he added me and we started talking.

I say hi to him when we pass in the hallways and stuff. Don't get me wrong--I just think hes cute, I like someone else. But I have this problem where when hes around his friends I'm kinda shy about saying hi so I pretend I don't see him.

Should I say hi or stuff to him around his friends? (I'm a really BOLD girl. I'm usually not shy..)

& also because secretly I think that he's annoyed at me--but i CAN'T prove that now can i? but i'm afraid that his friends might judge me because hes a skater and I'm a girly girl.

Same goes with the guy I like, I'm afraid that if I hug him in front of his friends--they'll make fun of him(& because I'm NOT dating him, thats why I'm afraid to hug the guy I like in front of his friends, even though he likes me too)I do the ignorin thing when hes around his friends or if he passes in the hallway

You shouldn't ignore him like this. Saying Hi won't harm anybody. Its just a friendly gesture.
