I really dont know what to do..i need someone to talk to..anyone..i need advice! please!?
I remember what it was like in the 6th and 7th grade. Some people need someone to pick on because they are so insecure and unhappy about who they are that if they make fun of you they feel better. If you don't follow along like a little sheep they call you names and make fun of you. It can hurt a whole bunch!
Being yourself can go 2 ways. Either you will be looked up to as a trend setter and someone with unique style, or you will be made fun of because your not in the "herd". Its hard to be your own person with your own style. Its so much easier to give in to the "herd mentality" and be just like the rest of the sheep.
Your right about it being annoying. I find even at my age that people do the same thing in different ways. All through my life I have been considered a bit "odd". I have refused to follow the herd.
Eventually you come to like who you are even if it is not like everyone else. It can be lonely at times though, so you have to decide if you can accept other peoples ignorant attitudes, or if it would just be easier to join them. Its up to you really.
Either way there is a price to pay.
