just because he acts qay doesnt mean he is qay...everybody thinks my best friend is qay but i've known him since i was in 3rd qrade...he is not qay...i know this because i know more about him than anybody..even his own family...just let him know that you like him and let your friend know that you like him and that you kind of don't appreciate her talkinq about him sayinq that he's qay...=]]]

The best thing you could do is ask him out. If he says no thanks I am gay...no big deal.
If he isn't gay, he will probably respect you more for not listening to rumors and having the courage to ask him out.
(P.S. If the guy was as gay as your friends are making him sound..I highly doubt he would be checking you out so often)
