This is the internet and people do tend to act crazy sometimes. Maybe you're being to agressive with the people who you approach. Try a less aggressive approach and see how it works. And try not to come off so angry. Are your personal pictures up on myspace? Or are your avatars? That could be another problem. A lot of people wont talk to someone on myspace if they don't have a real pic of themselves. And portraying yourself as an angry avatar may not sit well with people. Good luck on your attempt!
