hello, im an underground rapper and i got a myspace with my songs on it,
anyways
i received a message from a guy saying that he liked my stuff and that he has connections with record labels and promotions and stuff
and ive send him my songs and he told me that when can we meet up to get moving on my career, (i wanna be a rapper by the way)
anyways, im not sure if this is safe, why?
-because this person might be someone who has connections and wants good for me
-but, this person can be the FBI and wanting to put me in jail for using other peoples beats(instrumentals) , but im not signed to any record deal nor im famous and nor im on the radio
do you think this is safe?
or do you think this might be the FBI lookin for people like me to arrest ?

Do you honestly think the F.B.I. is going to come after you because you simply "Talked" to someone about making music? Even though you plagerized the tunes? Very Very Highly Unlikely my friend. They have much-more important things to do than go running around the world chasing garage-band-wannabe's. If you are serious about wanting to become a "Rapper" why would you steal someone else's Beats? You can come up with the Rap, but not the Beat? Your not going to be able to make a CD in a gutter trying to go about it like that friend! And there is no recording-studio on the planet going to pick you up as an artist using someone elses beat. It would leave them open to a law-suit so big, they would fold like an old-newspaper. Use your common-sense. You can not become famous on someone elses material. And this guy you are reffering to is clearly either out of his mind, or just playing you for a fool! Maybe thats what you are doing here, playing all of us for fools. I see that you have a grand-total of "4" whole points, with a "-53" for this weeks points. Thats really impressive seeing that you get 100 points when you start here! you have went 96 points lower!!
