My former best friend from middle school found me on myspace. She was the outcast in school and i was her only friend so she always had a special place for me. We are now both grown women. When she contacted me initially i just thought it was cool to see what she looks like now, and maybe keep in touch via myspace. WELL.. I now live in another state. She asked if she could come visit. I said yes, certainly thinking she'd come in a month or so. She came 2 DAYS LATER. Back in high school we used to smoke weed and party alot however i'm a mother now and don't live that lifestyle (drugs and exessive partying) she still does. So of course i tried to show her a good time and hang out for the 4 days she was here. Basically i'm not really feeling her to much, and don't want to try to be bff's again. But she does... She text me constantly saying she misses me and can't wait to come visit again. How can i tell her i'm not really interested without hurting her feelings, that is not my intention?

Explain to her too that things have changed and so are your priorities. You should let her know that your family obligations come first before anything else.
