PLEASE RESPOND IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!!! Relationship Should I go see him?

Ok I have know this guy since summer of 2003 and when I first started talking to him it was suppose to be a crank call then the phone conversations started getting more serious so we start I guess phone dating everything was cool until he had to goto college, then he distance hisself from me. I remeber this like it was yesterday he got in a fight with his parents and said that he needed me to be there and this guy was balling crying. Ok ever since then I have gone into other relationships trying to forget about him, but he still comes to mind. What should I do I know its never good to e-mail people but to see them in person. This is were I'm scared of what most of you'll might say.Well we started talking on myspace for a while the conversation was cool, but then maybe 5 or 6 months later, I would see how he was doing and he would respond and eveything. When I tried to give him my number he took it but never called. I've never met him in person the whole 4 yrs I've known him.

Im gonna be truthful...

I guess you guys must have had alot in common. Meeting him could be a very bad idea, as it would be like taking it to the next level, making it even harder to move on. It seems asif you really should move on. If he was thinking about you, just as much as you seem to be thinking about him - he would have taken that number and called every time he needed you. No calls, he doesnt feel that way, it seems like he doesnt need you. Never let crying win you over, be stronger than that, even though sometimes it seems very harsh. I know its difficult to let go of people immediately, but this relationship is unrealistic. Move on to something less complicated!
