New site with the biggest impact?
I've been reading reviews of sites that would have the most impact on internet users and they all point to this unique people search engine called Spock.com. http://www.spock.com/?utm_source=Yahoo&u...
On Spock, you search for people based on tags, which I have not seen in any effective search engine. A featured search was "annoying," and it produced actors such as Julia Roberts, Andy Dick, etc. I typed in "Arizona State University alumni" and found some fellow classmates.
Unlike MySpace or Facebook, this site is very effective and it doesn't take me ten minutes to find my friends!
Anyway, I would like you guys to check this out and tell me what you think because I see Spock being a search engine that is a combination of White Pages/MySpace/Wikipedia. Also, let me know what cool searches you find. Some of the other ones that I saw on the site were: "Mac user;" "likes uggs;" and "Saturday Night Live cast member."

I agree that it doesn't take awhile to find my friend, as opposed to Facebook. I found a ton of my friends just by searching for tags. And I tagged them as related people and silly things about them.

New site with the biggest impact?This is pretty neat, I have to admit. I usually am skeptical about engines that find people but you don't even have to enter a location or exact name to find someone.
And I did find quite a bit of people that I know on Spock. This tagging feature has been very fun so far.
