Oh this is dumb, but how do I tell if he likes me?

I met this guy named Rick this summer, and we saw eachother at District and Region band. We've started to talk a lot, about dumb stuff, and w/e. So I did something with a picture that his friend put on his myspace profile, made it a little fruity, for a joke. So I left a comment that said, "so did ya like it? verryy pretty" , and then he answered back," ya like u". If a guy is flirting with you and constantly talking to you and if your friends are convinced he's had a crush on you for a while, does that really mean he likes you. Sorry if I am wasting your time. I just kind of want to know.

awww, he likes u...if he didnt y would he answer "like u" when u said the picture was pretty. well, we got one thing down, he thinks ur pretty. So, what do u do next? Wait 4 him to make a move n if he doesnt ask him to hang out. just tell him ut going bowling or to the movies w/ friends n u want to know if he wants to come to. get to know him better n see where it goes from there.
