Is it time to realize the sparks are gone &break up?

my bf &i met late last september through my best friend &clicked immediately... &we started going out early last october. but, theres a catch. he lives in Los Angeles while i live in San Diego. with luck, we'd see each other 1-2x a month. everything was going perfectly: we'd talk everyday, tell each other anything, &call each other "babe" or "baby". whenever we wouldnt talk i'd feel really sad &empty inside. starting the 3rd month, this euphoria started to diminish. we'd talk every other day because he's really busy with his band &is having bad grades in school. he wouldnt be able to come to San Diego on the weekends due to shows or being grounded. in late december, i went on vacation &hadnt seen him since late november. over break, he didnt call me &commented myspace about 2x. we'd drifted apart. i talked to him &suggested a breakup. he said he still wants to be my bf. we went on a 3 week break that ended yesterday [my bday]. we havent talked since 2/13. should i save it or end it?

i think you should end it.. i'm sorry! Long distance relationships are very hard and if you are not able to see eachother for at least 5 days a month, its quite hard! If he stopped calling and you went through the whole breake things, things are not working and maybe a little time alone will work. if you miss eachother a lot, probably you will get back together in the futute.
