Should I make things cool with this person?

My old pal and I got in a fight and he punched me in the face and cut my lip open, scarring me for life, should I just be the mature one and make things cool between us? I've known him for about 4 years and it bothers me when I am not cool with everyone. Haha. I sent him a few myspace messages trying to start conversations, I even sent one that told him that I wanted us to be like adults and be cool with one another. Any suggestions?

Not all bridges can last forever. However, do try talking to him in person - your fight was in person any resolution should be that way also. Apologize and if it's not accepted at least know that you tried. Even if things don't work out right away, still remain civil when you see him because you never know.

I would apologize if it was my fault. But if u really want to be friends wiht him I think taht u should talk to him personaly.
